When I was younger, I didn’t know a thing about CGM or taking proper care of my hair to keep my curls healthy! Despite that, all those who know me well, know that I've always encouraged my curly friends not to straighten their hair, due to the strong love and appreciation I've carried for naturally beautiful curls ever since I was just a little girl!
Until this day, I always say curly hair is a blessing to everyone that has it! The beauty, volume, and uniqueness which curls can give a person are indescribable!
Despite the widespread misinformation that a CGM is for girls only, I strongly encourage all boys and men to start their journey and embrace the beauty of their curls as well.
Learning about the curly girl method has been an amazing experience and a life-changing one for me.
Like any other journey, whether it's skincare, diets, workout plans, etc., curly hair also has its good and bad days even when we're using the CGM.
One day we would be rocking beautiful and shiny curls, and another day, they would look super messy and bad. Yet, the beauty of it is to embrace it all and love your curls on good hair days and on bad hair days as well.
